Overview

Geocel Lead & Gutter Silicone is a premium grade, neutral cure silicone sealant powered by Dow technology. Designed for sealing and weatherproofing gutter systems, as well as pointing joints between lead flashing and brickwork, it offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including lead. This permanently weatherproof, UV-resistant silicone is highly flexible and durable, resisting shrinking and cracking to provide long-lasting protection against the elements in even the most exposed external environments.

Application

Ensure all surfaces, gaps and cracks are clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt and grease.

• Remove the nozzle and cut off the end of the cartridge.
• Replace the nozzle and cut the tip to the required width.
• Place the cartridge into a sealant gun and apply the material into the required joint.
• Ideal for use around gutter systems and joints between lead flashing and brickwork.
• This product is not paintable, so apply neatly for a clean, finished result.

Aftercare & Storage

• The sealant skins over in around 20 minutes.
• Clean up excess, uncured material using a suitable solvent or Geocel Universal Wipes.
• Avoid disturbing the sealed joint until fully cured to ensure the best possible finish.

Storage

• Store in unopened original packaging at room temperature.
• Shelf life of 1 year from the date of manufacture when stored correctly.
• Keep away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures prior to use.
