Tikkurila Optiva Primer - Tinted Colour Match
Overview
Tikkurila Optiva Primer is a matt water-based, highly-absorbent, acrylic primer for use on new and previously painted interior walls and ceilings. High-quality formula, this deep matt base coat will unify the primed surface, delivering better adhesion of the top coat while reducing its absorption, meaning it helps reduce the quantity of top coat needed and makes application easier. Optiva Primer is an excellent choice for priming fresh plaster, as it penetrates and stabilises newly plastered interior surfaces, creating the ideal base before applying your finishing coats.

Tinted Colour Information
Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Tikkurila tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay.
Tinted Colour Match paints can't be cancelled or returned as they are tinted to order.
Note: Depending on the amount of colourant required to mix your chosen colour, there may be up to a 10% variant on the advertised paint volume.
A tinted primer can be used to help obtain the true depth of colour for your top coat or to reduce the amount of coats required when a drastic colour change is occurring. A tinted primer will not necessarily be the same colour as your selected topcoat. It will be tinted towards the topcoat colour and generally lighter in shade. For example if your topcoat is black your primer may be a shade of grey. If you are unsure about when a tinted primer is required please contact us and we can advise further.
