Preparation
The surface must be clean, smooth, dry and free from wax, dust and contaminants. Shake well before use.Application
Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
- Pour a small amount of Rustins Ring Remover onto a lint free cloth.
- Using firm pressure, rub over the mark in the direction of the grain until the mark begins to lift.
- If the mark persists, apply more Ring Remover to the cloth and continue rubbing until fully removed.
- Once the mark has disappeared, buff the area with a clean, dry cloth to restore clarity and shine.
- Apply wax afterward if a waxed finish is desired.
- For stubborn or deeper marks, apply the Ring Remover using a Fine Steel Wool (Grade 0000) for increased effectiveness.
- Since Ring Remover may create a shiny patch on satin or matt surfaces, use Grade 0000 steel wool after treatment to gently matt down the sheen and blend the finish.
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the packaging.
