- Previously painted surfaces clean thoroughly and lightly sand to provide a key for the undercoat before application.
- Remove all sanding dust prior to applying the primer or undercoat.
Proper surface preparation ensures excellent adhesion and a smooth, durable finish.
Application
- Apply liberally and evenly using a synthetic fibre brush or roller.
- If necessary, the primer coat may be thinned by mixing 5 parts primer to 1 part water.
- Do not thin when using as an undercoat.
- Apply a minimum of 2 coats for optimal coverage and durability.
- Touch dry within approximately 30 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity.
- Allow a minimum of 2 hours between coats, ensuring the previous layer is fully dry.
- Apply in smooth, even strokes for the best finish, and maintain consistent coverage across the entire surface.
