Polyvine Interior Extreme Varnish is a professional-grade, water-based polyurethane varnish designed to deliver maximum durability and beauty to interior surfaces. This high-performance, cross-linking formula offers extreme protection for wood, furniture, floors, concrete, slate, and flagstones.

Ideal for high-traffic areas or surfaces that demand extra resilience, it’s resistant to water, stains, heat and chemicals — making it perfect for kitchens, hallways, and living spaces. It also includes UV protection to prevent fading, even in sunlit rooms.

Quick-curing in just 16 hours, this varnish provides an industrial-level finish that’s both long-lasting and visually stunning.

Preparation

• Remove all traces of old finishes, dirt, oil, wax and grease. These may have impregnated the surface and can cause failure.
• Sand in direction of the grain to provide a key.
• Thoroughly clean after sanding.

Application

• Ensure the product is well mixed but do not shake. Apply 3 coats with a synthetic varnish brush.
• On new softwood and porous surfaces, dilute the first coat 10% with water. Lightly sand wood in between applications to remove any raising of the grain.
• For a dead flat finish with high durability and stain resistance, apply 2 coats of satin followed by 1 coat of dead flat.
• To achieve full UV protection, apply 3 coats of satin before a final coat of dead flat. Instructions in the technical data sheet must be followed.
