- Sand in direction of the grain to provide a key.
- Thoroughly clean after sanding.
Application
- Ensure the product is well mixed but do not shake. Apply 3 coats with a synthetic varnish brush.
- On new softwood and porous surfaces, dilute the first coat 10% with water. Lightly sand wood in between applications to remove any raising of the grain.
- For a dead flat finish with high durability and stain resistance, apply 2 coats of satin followed by 1 coat of dead flat.
- To achieve full UV protection, apply 3 coats of satin before a final coat of dead flat. Instructions in the technical data sheet must be followed.
