Cleaning for Water-Based Paints

• Clean the brush as soon as possible after use.
• Remove as much excess paint as possible.
• Wash with warm (not hot) water and mild soap.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean warm water.

Cleaning for Oil-Based Paints

• Clean the brush as soon as possible after use.
• Remove as much excess paint as possible.
• Use the solvent recommended for your paint to clean the brush thoroughly.
• Finish with a rinse using clean mineral spirits to remove any remaining residue.
