It guards the wood against harmful UV radiation. The natural yellowing of wood is greatly reduced, and the natural, lightly coloured wood tone is preserved for a longer time. Osmo's Uviwax gives you a surface that is stain-resistant, water repellent and abrasion-resistant and won't peel, crack, flake or blister.

UV-resistant and non-yellowing

water and dirt resistant

Does not crack, peel or flake

Easy maintenance

Area

Interior

Recommended Use

Interior wall and ceiling panelling as well as doors and cabinets of lightly coloured wood species

Base

Water-Based

Coverage

Up to 16m² per litre

Drying Time

3-4 Hours

Re-Coat Time

3-4 Hours

Recommended Coats

2 Coats

Application Method

Brush

Preparation

Ensure the surface is clear from debris, dry and frost-free

Clean old microporous stains thoroughly.

Old paints and lacquers must be completely removed by sanding or using a paint stripper such as Osmo's Paint Stripper.

Degrease very resinous woods (e.g. Larch) with Osmo Brush Cleaner and Thinner.

Application

Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be treated to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
