Each 100x152x152mm Delta backing pad is designed to fit perfectly, ensuring optimal sanding performance. Supplied with a Mirka Pad Protector, this backing pad helps extend its lifespan by reducing wear when attaching and removing abrasives. The pad protector can also be purchased separately for ongoing protection. For even smoother results, especially on rounded or contoured surfaces, this backing pad can be paired with an interface pad, offering greater flexibility and control.

Application

It is recommended to use personal protective equipment when sanding.

Changing your backing pad regulary helps to keep your Mirka DEOS Delta in top condition. 

1. Unplug the Mirka DEOS Delta, so there is no power to the machine.
2. Turn the sander onto it's back, so that the lever is in the base of your hand.
3. Remove the old pad, Torx 20 required to undo the 4 screws
4. Place the new backing pad on the sander
5. Aling the screws with the holes and tighten in a criss-cross pattern
