Overview

Liberon Wood Filler is a water-based, multi purpose filler ideal to repair surface damage to wood and wooden flooring. Suitable for both interior and exterior use, this filler is both shrink and crack resistant as well as flexible and stainable. With a quick drying time of 1 hour and the ability to be easily sanded, screwed and nailed once dry. It can also be stained, varnished waxed or painted after application and comes in a wide range of colours.

Preparation

Ensure the area to be treated is clean and free from dust, debris, and grease. Select the colour that is closest to the colour of the wood, adapting your choice if dying the wood.

Application

Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be treated to ensure you are happy with your results.

• Apply using a plastic scraper or suitable filling knife.
• For best results avoid overspreading the repair area, but leave sufficient overfill to enable thorough sanding.
• Allow drying thoroughly, around 2 hours depending on depth and width of repair.
• Sand and finish as required.
• Small holes may be filled in one application, deeper holes should be built up in layers.
