Pre 1960's painted surfaces may contain harmful lead, so special precautions must be taken\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAny surface defects should be filled with the appropriate filler\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003ch2\u003eApplication\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eAlways follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin. We recommend to test a small area before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStir thoroughly before use.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e Start with 1 coat of Dulux Trade Undercoat in the appropriate colour, and allow at least 6 hours for it to dry before applying the Dulux Trade High Gloss.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e If you need new work to dry quickly, Dulux Trade Quick Dry Wood Primer Undercoat, available in white only, can be used as an alternative to the Dulux Trade Undercoat\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply 1 or 2 coats with a brush or roller only. Do not spray.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf you need to apply a second coat of High Gloss, ensure that you leave at least 16 hours drying time between coats.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOn rough or textured surfaces, or when using special process colours (see appropriate Dulux Trade colour literature), 2 coats will be required to achieve full opacity.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003ch2\u003eAftercare \u0026amp; Storage\u003c\/h2\u003eStore and transport upright with the lid firmly closed.
