Crown Trade Wood Primer is a high-quality primer designed for both interior and exterior use on softwood, plywood, chipboard, and flakeboard surfaces. It provides excellent adhesion and opacity, sealing the surface to create a solid foundation for further painting. The primer ensures a smooth, long-lasting finish by preparing the wood for topcoats with outstanding coverage.

Recommended Use	Priming both interior and exterior softwood, plywood, chipboard, and flakeboard surfaces.

Drying Time	Touch Dry in 4-6 Hours
Re-Coat Time	16 Hours
Recommended Coats	1-2 Coats
Application Method	Brush, Roller
Clean Up	Remove as much product as possible from the equipment before cleaning with white spirit

Preparation

Make sure that the surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry. It is particularly important that new surfaces are fully dry.

All defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease and wax must be completely removed.
Any surface defects should be filled with the appropriate filler

Application

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin. We recommend to test a small area before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility
