Crown Trade Aluminium Wood Primer is a high-performance primer designed for interior and exterior use on hardwoods, resinous softwoods, and wood treated with preservative. Its advanced formula seals stains and tannins, preventing bleed-through and ensuring a smooth, durable base for topcoats. With self-knotting properties and excellent adhesion, it provides superior priming for even the most challenging wood surfaces.

Preparation

Make sure that the surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry. It is particularly important that new surfaces are fully dry.

All defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease and wax must be completely removed.
Any surface defects should be filled with the appropriate filler

Application

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin. We recommend to test a small area before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility
