Feather edges of sound paint. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOrganic growth must be treated with Sandtex Trade Fungicidal Solution and removed. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFill any fixing holes, cracks and shallow surface defects with Sandtex Ready Mixed Filler. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePatch prime bare, filled and powdery areas as for new surfaces above. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWash remaining sound paint with hot water and liquid detergent solution to remove any contaminants, frequently changing the water.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAny glossy or eggshell surfaces should be wet abraded to provide a key.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRinse with clean water to remove all residues. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAllow to dry. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf after cleaning any areas are still contaminated with substances likely to cause staining and\/or bleeding, patch prime with one coat of Crown Trade PX4 Primer.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003ch2\u003eApplication\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eAlways test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStir well before and during use.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply 2 coats by brush or roller to an even thickness (use good quality tools – synthetic brush or medium pile roller).
