Preparation
Before application, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, sound, and free from grease, oil, and other contaminants.
- Scrape and brush to remove any loose or flaking material. For glossy surfaces, lightly abrade with fine abrasive paper to promote adhesion.
- If mould or lichen is present, treat the affected areas with a proprietary mould remover, using a scraper or stiff brush as needed. Repeat treatment if necessary to ensure thorough removal.
- For any bare metal areas, apply a suitable primer such as Coo-Var All Metals Primer before proceeding with the anti-condensation coating.
- Stir well before use. Apply using a brush or roller, ensuring even coverage.
- Multiple coats may be necessary for optimal performance, especially in areas with persistent condensation issues.
- Allow a minimum of 4 hours drying time between coats. For best results, apply under normal good painting conditions with adequate ventilation.
- Do not apply below 10 °C. As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
