Caparol AquaSperrgrund Fein is a versatile interior primer-sealer is designed to provide excellent sealing and stain-inhibiting properties on a variety of substrates. Ideal for surfaces affected by nicotine, soot, water stains, discoloring substances, or aniline-containing materials, it effectively prevents stains from bleeding through your topcoat.

Perfect as a pre-decoration coat, it can be applied before hanging wallpapers or before dispersion/emulsion paint coatings. It also offers a reliable sealing effect on wood and wood-based products, ensuring optimal adhesion and a uniform finish.

Preparation

Clean stained surfaces:

Wash nicotine, soot, or fat/grease stains with clean water and a fat-dissolving household detergent.
Allow the surface to dry thoroughly.

Remove dried water stains:

Use a dry scrubbing brush to eliminate any remaining deposits.

Application

Always test a small area of the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results

Apply the primer/sealer evenly using a brush or roller.
Ensure good coverage for effective sealing and stain-blocking.
Allow the primer to dry completely before applying decorative coatings, wallpapers, or dispersion/emulsion paints.
Do not mix or dilute Caparol Aqua-Sperrgrund with other materials.
