  • Thoroughly rub down previously painted surfaces, using wet flatting where possible, then wipe off with a damp, lint-free cloth.
  • Treat knots in timber with a suitable knotting solution..
  • New or bare surfaces should be primed with an appropriate Armstead Trade primer before applying the high-gloss topcoat.
  • Lead Paint Warning: Take special precautions when preparing older paintwork on wood or metal surfaces coated before the 1990s, as they may contain lead. Use proper protective equipment and safety procedures when sanding or stripping.

Correct preparation ensures a smooth, durable, and long-lasting high-gloss finish suitable for both interior and exterior surfaces.

Application

Always follow the manufacturers instructions found on the tin, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before painting the entire surface to ensure compatibility.
